Nacida en Yonkers, New York en septiembre de 1982, Christine D’Clario
desarrolló desde temprana edad una pasión singular por la música. A los
7 años fue trasladada a la isla de Puerto Rico y comenzó a presentarse
frente a distintos públicos desde la corta edad de 9 años.
Desde pequeña ha logrado representar a Puerto Rico en varios lugares y
competencias obteniendo posiciones victoriosas para su país. Habiendo
ganado el premio a la mejor interpretación en el Festival Mundial de la
Canción 2004, es actualmente catalogada como una de las mejores
intérpretes femeninas del mundo.
Después de haber colaborado musicalmente con reconocidos artistas y
ministros de la música sacra tales como Samuel Hernández, Danny Berríos,
Julissa, Henry Crespo y León de Juda entre otros, hoy se lanza como
solista con su primera producción titulada “Christine D’Clario”. “Con
este proyecto quiero exaltar las grandezas del Dios que me ha regalado
todos mis éxitos”, expresa la novel intérprete y añade, “no me considero
cantante, simplemente disfruto adorar a Dios con la voz que Él me ha
regalado”.
Su primer tema de promoción es una balada-pop que se titula “No Me
Abandonarás” y se trata de los momentos en que no nos sentimos dignos de
acercarnos a Dios, pero luego de tomar el valor de pedir Su perdón, nos
damos cuenta de que Él siempre ha estado ahí para nosotros y nunca nos
ha abandonado. Esta producción musical además envuelve varios géneros
tales como: balada, con el tema “Eres Dios”; pop-rock con “No Siempre Sé”;
un vallenato titulado “Con Tu Amor”; también tiene un bolero titulado
“Siempre Con Él”, escrito por su abuelito, y muchos más que hacen de
esta producción una para el disfrute de grandes y chicos.
Christine D’Clario - Biography (English)
Born in Yonkers, New York on September of 1982, Christine D’Clario, at a
very early age, developed a singular passion for music. When she was 7
years old her family established in the island of Puerto Rico where she
first began to present herself before different audiences at the short
age of nine.
Since then, she has managed to represent Puerto Rico in several places
and competitions obtaining victorious positions for her country. Having
won the award to the best interpretation in the 2004 World Festival of
Song (“Festival Mundial de la Cancion 2004”), she is at present
catalogued one of the best female singers/interpreters in the World.
After collaborating in the music careers of many Latin Christian artists
such as: Samuel Hernandez, Danny Berríos, Julissa, Henry Crespo and the
reggae band Leon de Juda, among others; today she launches debut solo
album which is self-titled. “With this project I want to exalt the
greatness of the God that has given me all of my success”, expresses
Christine as she adds, “I don’t consider myself the greatest singer in
the World; I just enjoy adoring God with the voice He has gifted me
with”.
Her first promo single is a pop-ballad titled “No Me Abandonaras”
(“You’ll Never Go Away”) which speaks of the moments when we don’t feel
worthy to come near to God, but after we gather the courage to overcome
our fear of rejection and ask for His forgiveness we realize that He’s
always there for us, and He’s never left our side.
This project involves several genres such as: ballad, in the song “Eres
Dios” (“You Are God”); pop-rock in “No Siempre Se” (“I Don’t Always
Know”); a native Colombian vallenato fusion titled “Con Tu Amor” (“With
Your Love”); and also there is a bolero titled “Siempre Con El” (“Always
With Him”), written by her Grandfather, and many more songs that makes
this musical production one that is enjoyable for the young and old.
